About the Campaign
The Lincoln Park Police Department received a $5,000 grant from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety. This grant was exclusively to put extra officers on the road during the campaign, which ran from August 15 to September 1.

The campaign, which involved not only zero tolerance towards Driving While Intoxicated but also included public education, through press releases, media interviews and signs posted around town. During the campaign, the Lincoln Park Police Department made 1 arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. This is indicative of our department well known reputation for strict and aggressive enforcement of this very serious offense.
