Drug & Alcohol Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)

Beginning in 1990 members of the Lincoln Park Police Department began instructing the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program to children within the borough.

Currently members of the Community Policing Bureau instruct D.A.R.E. for every grade, Kindergarten through 8. The core program is designed for the 5th grade, consisting of 12 lessons. Classes in grades 1st and 4th receive 4 weeks of lessons, focusing on safety. For more information regarding D.A.R.E. please visit D.A.R.E. America.
