Start a New Workout or Rev Up an Existing One This Week Not an athlete? Not a problem! This Monday, you can still celebrate the beginning of spring training by getting yourself into gear for a new season. Now that the beginning of spring is in sight, it may be easier to motivate yourself to get more exercise. To start or refresh your current routine, figure out what you like doing the most. The best workouts are the ones you actually enjoy so you can keep doing them! If you’ve been sticking to the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity per day kick things up a notch. Walk longer, do more reps, – find your favorite activity and do more of it. Make the room in your schedule to venture out of the house or your regular gym. There are plenty of inexpensive ways to “taste test” your new favorite activity. You can even use the time to bring a friend and make your new workout a get-together.
