Mayor's Message - March 26, 2020e-mail Mayor RunfeldtAs of today, there are now 7 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln Park. After several days of no new cases, we were just made aware of 2 new cases today. For the most part, those of us in Lincoln Park seem to be doing our part to help "flatten the curve" by following the advice and recommendations from the CDC, the NJ Department of Health and local health officials. I ask that you please continue to be vigilant in continuing these practices to help further slow the spread of this virus.
Many of the restaurants in town have closed for the remainder of the state of emergency and others have drastically reduced their operations. As each of the restaurants that remain open offer either curb-side pickup or at home delivery, I hope that you would consider occasionally ordering from them to help them through this difficult time.
My administration remains in constant contact with our state and county partners, and we will release additional information as it is provided. The State of New Jersey has set up a comprehensive website covering many questions you may have regarding COVID-19, as well as a telephone hotline. For more information, please visit www.covid19.nj.gov or call 211. Our Borough website www.bolp.org also has a tremendous amount of information for you as well. Please remember to consult your personal doctor if you exhibit any symptoms of illness. I will continue to provide accurate and up-to-date information as quickly as possible. Mayor David Runfeldt
