Message from Mayor RunfeldtSeptember is upon us and we have made it through nearly six months of coronavirus restrictions, executive orders and CDC recommendations. Words and terms that had previously been seen mostly in history books or science class such as pandemic, PPE and transmission rate are now part of everyday discussions. We even have words and phrases that no one would have thought of just months ago such as co-morbidity, social distancing and remote learning. Our lives are forever changed due to the virus and the COVID-19 disease. ...read more

- Rt #1 Recycling rescheduled to Thurs, Sept 10
- Lake will be open Labor Day Weekend
Labor Day is the last major holiday Americans celebrate before the summer ends. And you know what that means: flocks of families traveling to beaches, parks, and backyard barbecues. With all of the festivities going on, it’s easy to gloss over general safety precautions.

The Pequannock Valley Rotary sponsors an annual race that is usually held in June, but has decided to partner with the Borough of Lincoln Park to combine our races this year! COVID-19 has changed so many of our lives in so many ways, the way we eat, the way we shop, the way we learn, the way we simply greet each day or say hello to each other. The Borough and the Rotary made a decision to move forward with their annual 5ks as we are confident that we can safely allow two traditions to continue, even during the pandemic.
SAME DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED THIS YEAR!

PAL Sports intend to follow the social distancing rules that were put in place by the State of New Jersey as well as the Borough of Lincoln Park. With that being said, both players and parents MUST adhere to the 6 feet social distancing rules. While the children are playing a sport, they are not required to wear a mask, but while they are on the bench or the sideline, they are required to wear a mask, as are the coaches. There will be ABSOLUTELY NO SHARING OF EQUIPMENT. Coaches will have sanitizer with them.
The PAL takes this virus very seriously, and the coaches will be required to enforce social distancing and mask wearing regulations. Temperature checks of ALL participants will be taken prior to any practice or game. As a reminder to parents, if your child is not feeling well for any reason, please keep him/her home. The safety of your son or daughter, as well as the other players and volunteer coaches is of the utmost importance. Your help and cooperation will be needed to ensure we experience success in opening sports activities up this summer.
CHEER PRACTICE is underway and we are looking forward to a fun season. These are certainly trying times but we are enjoying teaching the girls new routines and are excited to show off our stuff at our Homecoming came Sept 12th! During practice the girls are keeping their distance as we have them spaced out, using hand sanitizer at every water break and have their temperatures taken before walking onto the field. Picture day is scheduled for September 12th. Homecoming is September 12th so please come and support our Seniors as for many this will be their last season as a RAIDER CHEERLEADER!
