From Lincoln Park Office of Emergency Management...

At this time, the only Flood Warning issued by the National Weather Service in this area is for mild to moderate flooding of the Passaic River at Pinebrook (Montville), NJ.

Although we are not anticipating any flooding in Lincoln Park with current projections, rivers are swollen enough that any increase in projected rainfall over the next few days may affect things differently.

If you live in a low lying area of town that is prone to flooding, please monitor the situation and take whatever precautions are necessary to protect yourself and your property. Make sure to check the NOAA website (weather.gov), and the flood gauge sites of the borough's website (bolp.org) frequently. The LPOEM will continue to issue information when possible.
