Rt 202 in Wayne at Mountainview Train Tracks CLOSED May 30 - June 5

Route 202 will be closed, to all traffic and in both directions, at the intersection of the railroad tracks in Wayne, New Jersey. The road closure will be handled by NJ Transit and it is for repairs to the roadway and rails at the intersection. The closure is 24 hours/day and will run from May 30 through June 6, 2019. There will be detours set up for car traffic that will divert the vehicles down Fayette Avenue in Wayne, NJ. There will also be a truck route detour that will take the trucks down Comly Road in Lincoln Park and out through Pequannock, NJ.

PLEASE PLAN AN ALTERNATE ROUTE TO AVOID THIS AREA.

MORRIS COUNTY STARTING NEXT PHASE OF 2019 COUNTY ROAD PAVING

Expect Work on Roads in Dover, Lincoln Park, Morris Township, Parsippany, Randolph, and Victory Gardens

Lincoln Park-Pequannock, Comly Road/Ryerson Road: The 1.7-mile project runs from Main Street in Lincoln Park to the Boulevard in Pequannock. J.A. Alexander of Bloomfield is the contractor. The bid price is $744,901. The project includes milling, paving, guiderails, ramps, and striping work. Work hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Infrastructure work should start the week of May 20. Milling and paving are not expected to start until later in June. The contractor will coordinate with local police on traffic issues and possible detours.
