SYNTHETIC TURF ATHLETIC FIELDS – PROJECT UPDATE Bids for the construction the long planned and much anticipated new synthetic turf field at the Lincoln Park Municipal Complex were received on July 23rd. The new athletic fields will include new dugouts, safety screens, goalposts, and polyurethane/rubber surfaces in certain areas. The basic layout of the fields will remain as it is today with a football/soccer field, a baseball diamond and a softball diamond. Construction is scheduled to begin on September 23rd. There will be a moderate disruption of parking in the Municipal Parking Lot during construction, which is anticipated to last between six to eight weeks. The final phase of the project, which includes the installation of the synthetic turf playing surface over the substructure, will be weather dependent, and may be postponed until early spring 2020 if necessary. The fields will, however, be ready for the spring sports season.

Stigma Free - What Does It Mean? The fear of stigma too often keeps people who are struggling with mental illness from seeking the help they need. Towns across New Jersey are standing up to the shame associated with mental illness by declaring themselves "stigma-free."
The Morris County Stigma-Free Communities Initiative is a county-wide program which aims to eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness and substance use disorders.
We are dedicated to raising awareness of these illnesses by creating an environment where affected individuals are supported in their efforts to achieve wellness and recovery.
