Live Sugarfreed: How Much Water Do You Need Everyday?
The 8 x 8 rule is helpful in reminding that our body needs eight 8 ounce glasses of water each day. A more accurate estimate is to take your body weight in pounds and divide by half; this gives you the number of ounces of water your body requires per day. For example 160 lbs = 80 oz water/day. Additional 8 oz water/ 20 minutes of physical activity.
