What is a Healthy Heart Worth to You?

<3 Your heart beats 100,000 times a day, 36 million times a year, and over 2.5 billion times in your life.

<3 An electrical impulse that travels through your heart muscle causes it to beat.

<3 Your heart pumps up to 2,000 gallons of blood each day and 1 million barrels in your lifetime (all recycled!).

<3 Your heart size is the same as your clenched fist.

<3 If you squeeze a tennis ball, that’s the same pressure your heart uses to pump blood out to your body.

<3 February is National Heart Month and February 14th is Valentine’s Day, so start now to “love your heart!”

So if your heart is worth something to you, then start to treat it right!  Eat healthy, exercise, don’t smoke, and look for ways to reduce stress in your life!
