Here are the events for the upcoming week:
Wednesday, 7/10 (7:00-8:00 pm), Sunset Yoga at the Lincoln Park Community Lake. It was great to see those of you who were able to make it to our first installment of Sunset Yoga last Wednesday! It was evident that all in attendance had a fantastic time focusing on their mental and physical well-being through ancient yogic practices. We can only hope to provide the same gratifying experiences for each of you this summer, and your next opportunity comes this Wednesday with another night of Sunset Yoga!
Friday, 7/12 (7:00-7:30 pm), Guided Meditation in the Municipal Building Council Chambers. With a focus on mental well-being, meditation promotes the procurement of mental clarity and a calm and stable emotional state This is accomplished through mindfulness and a number of other techniques with less of a focus on physicality than activities like yoga. After a long and stressful week, who wouldn’t want to reap the aforementioned benefits of meditation? If you’re in need of some winding down before the weekend, this is the event for you!
