Ellen Harrigan
Former Lincoln Park Councilwoman
It is with a sad heart that I inform you of the passing of one of our long-time residents and former Councilwoman, Ellen Harrigan.
Mrs. Harrigan served as Ward 2 Councilwoman from 1999 through 2008 and was Council President from 2003-2005. She also was a member of the Morris County Republican Committee proudly representing Lincoln Park. Beginning in 1990, she volunteered countless hours with the LP OEM, serving as the OEM Coordinator from 2002 - 2008. She was a member and trustee of the first aid squad and of was one of the founders of Lincoln Park Day, serving on the board the entirety of its existence.
Ellen's beloved husband and former Mayor/Councilman, Michael Harrigan, passed away in July 2020. Ellen is survived by her children, Daniel (Danny) and Katherine (Katie) and one grandchild.
