Lincoln Park - March 9, 2018

reply to Mayor David Runfeldt

Please contact the Lincoln Park Police (973)694-5533 for emergencies, to report downed power lines or other immediate assistance.

DPW

While we understand that the downed trees are an issue, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM BRINGING THE BRANCHES, LIMBS, BUSHES, ETC... TO THE CURB UNTIL ALL SNOW HAS BEEN  REMOVED/MELTED.  Once the snow clean-up is complete, we will address the broken limbs and collection dates.  Collection dates will be posted next week.

Recycling

The majority of the Borough's personnel and equipment are being utilized throughout the town, so the recycling center will be closed on Friday, March 9.  We anticipate the center will re-open on Saturday, March 10 with hours from 8:15am - 4:15pm.

We will return to a normal curbside recycling schedule as of Monday, March 12.

Snow Removal

DPW will be removing snow in the center of town beginning Friday evening through Saturday morning.  Expect delays, closures and plan an alternate route if possible.

Garbage

Normal garbage collection is in effect.

Warming Center

For those without power, the Community Meeting Room is available to warm up or to charge your devices.  The Community Center Meeting Room is located in the main building of the Municipal Complex.  The CMR will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for those without power.
